Opportunities to learn more about forgiveness and mental health

Tim has had the opportunity to speak on a number of topics around forgiveness and mental health —  from the basics to the role of forgiveness in helping prevent suicide. Highlights from 2023 include the National Federation of Families Conference in Chicago, Children Come First Conference, keynoting at the CESA #5 Paraprofessionals Summit and the Rock County CIT summit. Tim has delivered keynotes at The Children Come First Conference, CESA 5 Mental and Behavioral Health Summit and Crivitz High School Mental Health Summit (best t-shirt ever!) Tim presented a seminar on Forgiving in an Unforgiving World for Great Lakes Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Regional Center, Lifest 2019, and Sugar Creek Bible Camp. He has spoken for people at Prairie du Chein Correctional, Juvenile Justice workers, Diversion Program workers, educators, adolescent health professionals, along with families in the autism community and the greater disability community, and professionals working with our elderly population. In July of 2022, Tim was presented with the Healing Hearts Hero Award at the International Agape Love and Forgiveness Conference for “his years of commitment to helping others learn about the virtues of self-forgiveness and interpersonal forgiveness.”

Using a unique combination of humor, personal experiences and insights from Dr. Enright’s work, Tim touches on the mental and emotional aspects of living a healthy life.  With forgiveness at the heart of Tim’s speaking, he has developed a number of  presentations and is open to designing what you need to encourage your people. From growing up in an alcoholic household and then struggling with his own alcoholism; through jobs in education, churches, health care and outreach, Tim brings a lot of lived experience to his presentations. He continues to battle addictions, mental health challenges and past trauma. Through sharing with others how he lives today, he hopes to encourage and empower others to keep living.
